Ernest Schultz has being appointed to head the Institute as Chief Executive Officer together with five founding board members of the Career Aid Foundation at this moment in time and they are:
We are also in the process of looking out for other non-executive board members from the maritime industry who can give us the credibility required to run such an institute. (Watch this space)
The primary function of each management team member is to ensure that standards of training are of the highest quality in their respective fields of expertise and that their facilities are maintained to the highest standards. A full quality assurance program is to be set in place to ensure that this is met. The Institute will also contract specialist/s to assist with facilitating, assessment, moderation and verification to ensure that the very best training is provided.
The Chief Executive Officer will be assisted by a Personal Assistant who will be fully trained in the running of the Institute, and he or she will also co-ordinate courses and facilities. The residence will also have a full time house mother and father to see to the needs of the learners in residence.
Pinnacle Accounting has been appointed to do the daily running of accounts, and Mark Augustine will also be appointed as an honoury member of the board to resolve any disputes that may arise during the daily running of the Institute.
Both SAMSA and TETA will also be represented on the board in an advisory capacity to ensure that a high standard of training is always maintained.
